Zhetygen is a stringed instrument reconstructed in the 20th century according to ancient descriptions. The zhetygen has seven strings, over the sheep bones, and looks like the russian instrument the gusli or a harp on its side. In the past, people used to play zhetygen before a hunt that suppose to bring luck. |
